It’s probably why 1.25 million people in the UK will have a non-surgical procedure in a market worth £1.7billion.

However, dermal fillers aren’t without a risk. In America only seven types have been given FDA approval, yet here in the UK there are 147 available! The FDA, an American body, monitors the safety and efficacy of new cosmetic procedures but we have no such regulation in the UK.

According to the study by Manchester University, a woman’s lips are the most attractive part of her body. Especially if she’s wearing red lipstick.

When the women in the study wore lipstick, the men gazed at their lips for an average of seven seconds – spending just 0.95 seconds looking at their eyes and 0.85 seconds studying their hair.

But when they went without make-up, the men tired of looking at their lips after 2.2 seconds.
